We provide service to individuals who requires direct care as result of age, sickness, disability and other restrictive challenges, in the comfort of their homes and communities.
Home Care Aide
JOB DESCRIPTION
Home Health Aide We provide service to individuals in their own homes and communities, who need assistance caring for themselves as a result of old age, sickness, disability and/or other inflictions.
Personal care may include assistance with activities of daily living, housecleaning, laundry and shopping. We are responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant Company policies and industry standards.
We provide services that allow clients to remain in their homes while receiving the necessary support to maintain the maximum level of independence. The services we provide include, but are not limited to the following:
-Assist with Shopping and Errands. -Assist with Laundry.
-Ability to carry 20-30 lbs. (Laundry/Groceries). -Help with Meal Preparation
-Medication Reminders
-Help with Homemaking/light house cleaning (sweeping, vacuuming, moping, dishes and bathrooms) -Physical Assessment
-Case Management
-Collaborate with All Care staff (reporting to main office and supervisors)
-Collaborate with outside agencies while following all HIPPA laws
-Assist with ADL's (showering, bathing, dressing and grooming)
REQUIREMENTS:
-Driver's License and reliable transportation -HS Diploma or equivalent -Excellent written and oral communications skills -Requires cell phone -Work on holidays -Ability to pass a criminal background check/drug screen -Ability to follow and carry out individual client care plans -CPR Certification (We do not offer class). Physical and Mental Demands: -Good Physical and Mental Health. -Physical ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, stoop, crouch, talk, hear and see. -Ability to climb up to 10 flights of stairs (as needed). -Ability to assist clients physically/ambulation when needed. -Ability to drive a vehicle. Schedule: Full-time, part-time & per diem available, up to 40hrs/wk; 1st & 2nd shifts, flexible hours 8am - 8pm Salary: $13/hr - $14.50/hr Benefits: Dental, life insurance, medical, paid holidays, sick leave, vacation.
